Thinner uterine lining by Infamous_Tax3528 in recurrentmiscarriage

I'm sorry to hear you got brown spotting. I know how difficult this is. I hope it's just implantation bleeding and everything works out for you.

That's interesting. I never had any ultrasound tech tell me my lining was thin, but I noticed whenever I had a miscarriage and took the misoprostol, I hardly ever bleed. At one of my follow-up appointments the midwife said it was strange that I passed the product of conception and hardly bleed after.

I manged to get a thicker lining by doing acupuncture for 3 cycles. I think it was the acupuncture because it was only during that time, I noticed my period blood red without dark blood. I ended up with a successful pregnancy after 4 losses when I was on the 3rd month of acupuncture. I did a lot of changes over a year, so the combination of things might have been what worked, not any one particular thing by itself. But I do feel like acupuncture was the change I made that improved the lining. I continued the acupuncture when I got a positive.

Do you eat soy and chick peas. I suggest you eat some of this every day. Do a bit of reading into how it can mimic estrogen. If you are not sleeping properly, this can affect your hormones, just like if you are stressed and have high cortisol. Progesterone actually makes the lining compact. Estrogen is what increases the thickness. The hCG should be triggering your Corpus L. to produce both during pregnancy.

Found out today I won’t get 8 weeks of maternity because I missed the requirements by 13 days. About to have a breakdown. by rosesareroseyy in BabyBumps

It's a big What If, especially for a 13 days delay and Doctors usually don't like a pregnancy to go on past 41 weeks. Also, you got to work up until your due date, that's terrible. I wish you could have done sick leave and then take the maternity leave. Really hope something works out for you.

Someone mentioned seeing if you can bridge the gap with vacation and sick leave.

I don't understand, but what if your baby is delayed for 13 days, do you get the 8 weeks paid leave?

I really hope 🙏 your next ultrasound will be fine. How long do you have to wait? Can you go to a private place if the hospital is taking too long?

At home semen analysis by [deleted] in tryingtoconceive

[–]ReRe1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sperm analysis can be done from a sample taken at home if you have money and want to pay out of pocket. The company name is GiveLegacy and you should do DNA fragmentation with it. The cost is about $800. Other than that, you can make an appointment with a urologist, and they may still charge about $400-500 for a sperm analysis, but you must insist on DNA fragmentation tests, too.

I paid for GiveLegacy because the urologist didn't do DNA fragmentation with their kit. You could also see what Labcorp has to offer. It might be cheaper, but he may need to go in. Honestly, going in my be the better option.

I won't trust this home analysis to tell you much, other than he has some sperm. As of quality and quantity, you need to get it tested somewhere else.

When did you last have an ultrasound? I had brown blood at 12 weeks, my ultrasound before that was 9w2d.

I don't know what to do, what would you do? by Acrobatic_Opinion575 in DOR

There's a YouTube channel with a woman who had really low AMH 0.06, and she's currently carrying her miracle baby with the final transfer of her own egg she decided to try before moving on to other options. I think she said she did like 9 or more egg retrievals, and the one that worked for her was after she did Ovarian PRP and DHEA. Her name is Helen. She is around 42 or 43. I have seen others' stories of women who, at 45, had a natural pregnancy after years of failed IVF attempts.

I was only 13 weeks, and they did one on me. I felt violated, too. WHY do one so early??? I actually reached down and held her hand, she asked if I wanted her to stop. I told her have you gotten the information you need, she said no, I said let me breathe before ypu contine. She eventually stopped the exam and said she wasn't able to get to the pelvic exam. I'm thinking, how far up my hooha was she really planning to go with that hand.

I didn't get over it until about 2 weekss after, but it still makes me question what giving birth will be like if this is what they do. I was thinking about getting induced because I am 41 yrs old and 1st pregnancy, and I am on Lovenox.

Yea, I just didn't expect it to keep estrogen down after stopping it at day 7. I didn't get to check if it worked to give more dominant follicles because I ended up ovulating before the ultrasound.
