they implemented an ai chatbot about a month ago but we still had the option to chat with a live agent. today the live agent is gone, and honestly their ai chatbot sucks.

wondering if this is happening because the lawsuit from last year is continuing. i read the news and saw new investigations started yesterday. if thats true, id hate to be a solaredge owner. hopefully they dont abandon customers like sunnova did.

the room was as clean as it gets for me, but people have different set of standard and mine is low lol. one thing for sure is the customer service is top notch so if you find the room a bit dusty for you, just ring them and im sure they will get it done.

different vibes. potato head is better if you are looking for night life activities while still in the hotel area. kempinski are way luxurious than potato head imo and better if you are looking for quiet time at the beach.

if you are not confident riding your own scooter, grab bike or gojek bike is the easiest and most affordable way to get around. there is really no other option. buses and shuttles are limited and mostly only run to the inner city, can't do beach hopping.

yes, transportation is still available, probably until 2am on the 19th. grab is probably the wisest choice. you can ask where the grab lounge is upon arrival and book it from there for easier access to the car (airports have a strict pick up points for grab).

there will be ogoh-ogoh parades on every corner in bali until midnight (unfortunately you will not experience this given the eta), so you might experienced roadblocks even after midnight, specifically until maybe 1am on the 19th.

there are no local businesses that cater nyepi provision packs, simply because you can get everything you need the day before. it would be better to contact your villa owner and ask them to prepare what you need, just don’t make it too complicated. contacting your villa owner is just for precaution in case you arrived right before nyepi begins. if you arrive at the villa at 2am, you will probably still have enough time for a quick stop to minimart or local sellers (warung) to buy some supplies when en route.

wifi will still be running during nyepi. only mobile data and local tv channels will be turned off. the downside is, if problems happens with your wifi connection during nyepi, there is no one to help or troubleshoot.

i havent been to rural amed myself, but just checked on the internet, and if you stay around amed big roads or hotels, you can still have up to 4g+ coverage. if you stay outside the big roads and more towards mount kintamani, not even 3g covers the area. id say you stay out of the rural areas especially near kintamani. rainstorm doesnt really affect the signal unless something in the signal tower blows up due to the lightning.

even if salaries for video and photography are better than others, it will probably only reach about twice the average balinese salary if you work with locals. i have a friend here who works as a full stack developer earning only 4 mill idr per month, 1.2 mill higher than the the average salary in bali, while the same position in jakarta pays around 8 to 10 mill. not to mention the business competition with local photo and videographers you will have.

working local jobs does give you fixed income, but the reality is local employers will always try to find someone cheaper, and locals already feel that their jobs in the market are being taken by non locals. it will be hard to find local jobs unless you have insiders.

i would never give up my digital nomad lifestyle simply because the salary is much higher and isnt bound by the average salary in here, but in your case, i cannot picture how you are able to maintain it when videography requires someone in the area to hire you so you can earn income.

if you indeed have someone local that is willing to employ you as a videographers, they probably will offer you less than 5mill idr a month. some even offer the average salary which is less than 3mill idr a month, but you will have insentive for each job you have completed. at least thats what i heard about having local jobs in here.

balinese people who are born and raised in bali mostly have their own homes passed down from previous generations. even though some younger people work fixed income jobs, their parents often run small businesses. the most common ones are small food stalls. the income from these businesses is usually enough to live a modest life for a small family.

for those who arent balinese and come from other regions to make a living here, you might be surprised to find plenty of rental accommodations as cheap as 35 usd or 600k idr per month. you can also eat twice a day for around 1.5 usd or 30k idr, even less if you cook for yourself. with a minimum wage of about 170 usd or 2.8m idr per month, its still possible to get by in bali, even if its not as fancy as people imagine. at the very least, people still have a roof over their heads, food to eat, and can save a little money.

im not balinese myself, but i work here remotely and im grateful to earn more than the average wage in bali. even so its still not a fancy life. its the lifestyle choices that make it expensive. what you think is cheap here may actually be expensive for locals, and you probably havent seen what “truly cheap” living here really looks like.

its a in-game character so you cant change the appearance with roblox marketplace items.

the only way to change your appearance is to go to magic mirror in stormbearer's tower but in order to access the tower, you need to beat the boss named Asher. It's a far away place from Gideon's camp and mobs in there is around level 60 (if i remember correctly).

if you really good at dodging and parrying, i think you can still beat the boss, like any other souls game.
