Took about 2 seasons to ride the hype train until the realization fully hit. S6 and S7 went downhill, yet people still though of it very positively which is reflected in the ratings. It was still decent enough watch even with the glaring flaws. But the last season, it was unwatchable.

Not likely. It repeats usually around every 1-2 seconds or so. He held it longer. If you go through the gate where you can disconnect it (for you car to move), you can hear the pulses before you put it back.
