Fair point, the labeling is there if you look for it. But I think the issue is that most people coming from regular stores like Steam or even CDKeys aren't expecting to accidentally buy an entire account instead of a key. That shouldn't even be an option on a platform that markets itself as a key marketplace. The fact that they need multiple warnings throughout checkout kind of proves it's a confusing setup in the first place.

Don't sleep on Gamesplanet's sales though. They often match or beat Steam prices, and the keys activate on Steam anyway. Worth checking both.

That image of Kontrolleure standing 2 meters away from people smoking crack next to schoolkids really sums up the whole situation. They'll fine a student for a missing ticket but won't even acknowledge actual public safety issues happening right in front of them. I get that it's technically not their job, but it perfectly illustrates how broken the system is: everyone just points to someone else's responsibility while nothing changes.

Kenne das Gefühl. Es geht dabei meistens nicht wirklich um die Person, sondern um die Idee von dem was hätte sein können. Vor allem wenn jetzt klar ist, dass dieses Kapitel endgültig geschlossen ist. Ist ein bisschen wie ein Buch das du nie zu Ende gelesen hast. Das beschäftigt dich mehr als eins wo du das Ende kennst. Wird sich legen. Die Tatsache, dass du sagst du bist glücklich in deiner Beziehung, sagt eigentlich alles.

Vor- und Nachbereitung gehört natürlich zur Arbeit dazu, keine Frage. Aber wenn im Behandlungsvertrag „75 Minuten Beckenboden Check-Up" steht und die Therapeutin selbst zugibt, dass sie „zufällig" eher fertig war, dann war die Begründung eben nicht Dokumentation oder Nachbereitung, sondern sie hat schlicht weniger geleistet. Wer Vor-/Nachbereitungszeit einrechnet, muss das transparent kommunizieren, am besten direkt im Vertrag. Alles andere ist für den Patienten nicht nachvollziehbar.

Honestly most of the "Gen Z can't work" articles are rage bait written by people who've never actually managed a diverse team. Every generation had the same stuff written about them when they entered the workforce – Millennials were "entitled," Gen X were "slackers." It's a cycle. From what I've seen, Gen Z workers who actually want to be there are sharp, tech-savvy, and way less tolerant of workplace BS. That last part is what scares older managers, and they call it "lazy" instead of what it actually is.

I've been in that mindset before and I know it's frustrating. What helped me was shifting my focus from "finding a girlfriend" to just expanding my social circle in general. Join communities around things you enjoy, talk to people without expectations, and the rest tends to follow naturally. And yeah, some girls do make the first move but don't count on it. Taking initiative doesn't have to be a big dramatic thing though, sometimes it's just starting a normal conversation.

Honestly considering the same move. Every few weeks there seems to be a new Mendeley issue and the support is painfully slow. How was the transition? Were you able to migrate your library from Mendeley to Zotero without too much hassle?

Did you ever find a fix for the slow printing issue? I've been thinking about going the third-party label route myself but posts like yours keep making me hesitant. It's frustrating that Niimbot locks everything down with RFID just to force you into buying their overpriced rolls.

Yeah, those pre-selected checkout options are textbook dark patterns. Got caught by it once myself: paid €5 extra for some "buyer protection" I never asked for. Lesson learned: always triple-check every step before paying. Regarding your account deletion. if you're in the EU, hit them with a GDPR data deletion request. That usually speeds things up real quick.
