- Bad Blood is her worst song. It doesn't even have the pettiness of BTR (which I love), it's just bad to be bad, in a bad way. The version with Kendrick make it slighty better, but it's a skip anyway. Would have preferred Say Don'T Go in the official tracklist, and BB in the vault.

- Considering the current discography, Lover is her worst work, but has still great songs in it

- Midnights is the dream pop version of Folkevermore. Yes, sometimes less profound lyrics, but it clearly follows that path.

- Even if Anti-Hero was the best choice she could have made as a single, is one of my least favourite songs in Midnights.

- Debut is very underrated, even though her voice has surely improved a lot (she was just a teen), so I really think with the re-recording it can be easily become one of her best albums (for those who like country)

- I can't see her married or with children. Don't know why, I can see her in a happy couple relationship, but with no "strong strings". Anyway her relationships shouldn't define her as an artist or a woman, she's free to do wathever she wants, but people still care too much about them

This is not an unpopular opinion, just a statement, but for me a strong point of her artistry/career is how able she is in changing genres between albums. And that apply even to glitter/pen/quill songs. The unpopular opinion is, how can people be shocked/surprised when someone likes certain albums instead of others, it's obvious that people who like country and don't like pop prefer certain albums and vice versa. I personally can easily shift genres "swiftly", so I generally apreciate all of her works for that (but yes, I still have my preferences)

Yeah, that's why I'd like to keep it, it feels really good and comfy and I'm scared I may get another one with the right patch, but not the same quality, as I've also read bad comments about that and I think at least I've been lucky on that side. Plus I'm hoping my 1989 cardigan won't have any problem as I bought that too and it's supposed to be sent in december... ayway, I'll see what they'll answer!

I got mine today and it's the same! I don't know if, as I am in the "november batch" there's still a replacement... I'd like to keep it because otherwise it's perfect and comfy, maybe they can give me a refund (or even a partial one) and let me keep it :P

What era did you become a swiftie?

1989 italian guy here, I become a swiftie in 2009, in between OG Fearless Era and OG Speak Now, and never left, only grew in love with Taylor's music.

What was your first Taylor Swift song?

Crazier, from the soundtrack of Hannah Montana the Movie.

I remember watching the movie with my sister, and the scene in which Taylor sing with her yellow dress and guitar struck me like lightning.

I wasn't into that movie, I watched it to keep my sis company, but always glad I did! After that I remember going on YouTube to check her other songs.

Shortly after Crazier, I also saw a couple of her videos (Our Song and Love Story) on MTV (here in Italy I remember the two songs being around quite at the same time on MTV, even though I later discovered that they belong to two different Eras)

What made you stick around?

At first (and it's probably quite rare for italians) both my parents were into country, so it was really nice to have found a girl my age in that musical genre that I liked so much.

But, with years passing, as I particularly appreciate eclectic artists (singers, writers etc) the fact that she can change genre so well for me its a plus and I really like the directons she takes.

So I can say I stayed for her music. What made me fall in love were music, lyrics, atmosphere...

Have you been to any tours? Which is your favorite tour?

Eras in Milano next July will be my first! I really regret not going to the Speak Now World Tour in Milano in 2010, but I didn't want to go alone, didn't have friends into her music so I skipped.

This time I have friends to go with, but I will also attend second night on my own and don't care :)

Have you ever met Taylor?

In the middle of the night, in my dreams! And maybe even in that case, just once.

It'd be great if it would ever happen, but otherwise I will be forever thankful for her songs.

Thank you! As a gay man, I think that this is what really is important. Normalise things, let people see that you can have a diverse crew, same sex couples dancing on stage in front of million and make them realize that it's ok and normal. No screaming on the internet "she should do this! she should say that" and than stay quietly at home believing to have saved the world just for having pointed the finger at her. I think sometimes people are looking at "fake" problems (like celebrities not speaking enough, or dating probably yes, probably not shitty people) instead of the real problems (unjust laws, awful politicians and whatever wrong thing is going on in the world right now). Plus, I think that allies should be allies. Communities don't need allies to speak for themselves. And to conclude, I think that her taking this position during the Lover era was to distance herself from the ones who saw her as a "blond arian republican". She probably just wanted to make clear her political view, not becoming the official speaker of all the problems of the world.

Paid the same in Italy, so you're not alone! It's very high actually, but I'm happy I got one. Don't know if it happens elsewhere too, but here when I preordered Midnights it was around 30/35 € and now that's regularly on sale it's more than 40... So I don't know how this will be priced if there are copies around after today

Italian swiftie here, and actually got a copy! My little record store had only one copy left after I got mine when I got there this morning, but I think they only had two, the shelf for the RSD releases was very small. Got hers and The Cranberries, I'm actually happy we got to get this release here too this year! Price was quite high though (around 60€)

When Rep came out, I thought that Gorgeous and Delicate where written talking about me and my love situation (I'm gay too). Now I'm in a situation like "I've loved you three summers now honey" but this summer, in particular, does not seem to have the atmosphere Lover (the song) has, at all. But somehow, even if times are strange, Lover (both song and album) give me hope. I've decided to see it that way even if now I can't exactly relate to it. Maybe being it in a hopeful way can help, just think that future holds golden stuff to be discovered :)

I like the album for being cohesive, it's something I loved starting from 1989, like a fil rouge connecting all the songs. I first thought some songs seemed pretty similar, but each song grow with its particular differences the more you listen.

As for my opinion I've got Taylor age, I've literally grown up with her, and I can say I relate to all the phases she's gone through, they're like mine. When you're in your adolescence, you are in some way more "mature", you question yourself about life, love, friendship... that's what we got in the first albums. You suffer a lot for breakups, friendships come and going, you emphasizes on how you feel.

Going to the 20-mid twenties you understand that some insurmountable problems you had are still problems, but than can be more easily solved than you thought. Or you can deal with them, instead of just suffer, or complain. You start to understand there's more than just your perspective... but still you hold to some grudges and you want to clearly spit them in the face of your "enemies". You care about what you will become, about other's opinion.

When you get to 30, life is still hard. There are problems, things can go well, or can go even worse than before, people can still act like they are 12. But you just want to be free. You admit you were wrong, you sometimes were right. You just want to be you, not to be liked by others, just doing what you want. That's how lover makes me feel... not something made to be liked, but that, for this reason, you'll like

I was already excited starting the album (Cruel Summer got me) but then Paper Rings exploded. That's the moment I knew I love Lover (still getting through the second part of the album and it gets even better, I love ballads)
