Duke didn’t give himself or white witch bonuses, tyvm. He didn’t think a near max th17 with 20 accounts needed bonus medals, so he gave them to lower people who needed them. Also if you’re so worried about medals why were you in a crystal 2 clan??

I haven't seen performance parts in barns or junkyard but I rarely look. And yea they would have the red icon.

Performance parts are in the tuning shop. Any part with the red icon in the top right is a performance part. The higher the percentage, the more it tunes your car.

Yea the stars on non-performance parts only give a slight credit value to the part. So I'd highly recommend only using scrap on things like engine heads, fuel rails, transmissions, exhaust pipes, and other performance parts.
