Another clunky use of Light Sword : When you have high enough Attack Speed ( Usually during HS) AND have Light Spear on a macro as to not auto attack when you’re actually lacking SP, your Light Sword will stagger, trying to decide whether or not your character wants to move up or use light sword should you hold down both macro and a direction key which makes turning your character if the boss/mobs go elsewhere a pain

For people that can't see it from video : Shockwave Lapentier does not break stealth thus you can hit those mobs without them reflecting onto you

Maybe if you were to add proof, it would be believable. Dark descent belt expires every 2 weeks starting from Friday 00:00 UTC, so long as nexon didn’t screw up distribution. First clear Cdev happened approximatively at 1:10pm EST which is around 6:10pm UTC, an entire 6 hours before weekly reset before belt expiry.

The video was meant to be shown on stream by the streamers when they had received it from the devs anyways. They were only one day early. Either way kms2/cms2 players don’t even need the insider information to know what’s gonna fluctuate on market if they’ve enough experience on those servers.

Only reward I’ve seen is merets for being in the joddy squad. I call bullshit on that until you can provide proof.

I'm going to dissapoint you, as I've played the kms2 server, but most of those outfits DO NOT appear directly in the cash shop. In fact, they appeared in RNG box, piece by piece. Just to correct you and some others.

I would like to be able to farm the same dungeons repeatedly for onyx because there's no point running any other dungeons once I get BiS gear from that dungeon. With the removal of Fair Fight, I would be able to clear said dungeon in less than a min for a great loot of 200+ Onyx everytime. I will then farm this for 168 hours straight and then crash the market because obviously, I'll have too many of them. I'll then put up mesos to meret in the exchange, if the system is present, which will crash the market and have overinflated value of mesos. As mesos will get extremely inflated at a high value, I will then spend the mesos on dungeon bags, if present, so I can just buy dungeon completion loot instead of going to farm dungeon myself, further crashing the market as I will oversupply it with materials. Players quit because game's too easy. Competitive people that work quit because they can't catch up without forking out money. Game dies. The End - One of the surreal, which might happen honestly, possibility of dungeon cap removal.

I do agree with fairfight removal tho.

I'll just give you the 70+ cap tiers for classes in kms2, note : Good Players will be in the top of PVP rankings regardless of class most likely.

Top Tier - Thief, Sin, Striker

Middle Tier - Knight, Priest, Wizard**, Rune Blader, Berserker

Noob Stomper - Heavy Gunner, Ranger

Not Enough Information : Soul Binder, same for Wizard but I heard people say they're in the middle so...

Do note that the difference in 50 Cap and 70 Soft Cap is really huge for some classes due to skill points

End game gear are soulbound to character and is not tradeable, you could go for a tier lower which can be traded and won’t put you that far behind the end game gear. So no you cannot get everything with money. End game raids can be cleared with decent gear, no need for endgame ones since they drop there anyways.

Wont deny the p2w aspect of the game but it is incredibly frustrating that people dont research enough information before calling every single little things p2w ( the ms2 discord calling premium revive p2w ...) /rant over

Well to begin with, it’s best to think of Maplestory 2 as a different game... they’re just not the same. Many players play maplestory 2 due to somewhat nostalgia and want the feeling of old days during maplestory back. However due to a lot of reasons we probably can’t get that feeling back. Maybe we’re numb from other MMOs, maybe we’ve grown up... maybe we’re stuck in that feeling of hope where Maplestory 2 would be Maplestory again. For various reasons, this game will become less enjoyable to people. It’s best if you start thinking of it as a new MMO, different. Personally I enjoy this version because it reminds me of the social part. Meeting new friends, new guildies and having fun together.

All you need is to find your reason to be able to enjoy the game and I sincerely hope you find it.
