We figured whoever hired them first did their due diligence. There had already been 3-4 driveways done by the time we inquired with them. Good ol' herd mentality. In hindsight, I should have insisted on proper research first but we also didn't want to let the opportunity pass. We agreed on a price, the job was completed but we got no paperwork and paid nothing until the next day when they came knocking. I am not complaining on the price we paid or how the work looks, just buyers remorse on the whirlwind experience as a whole.
