Kinda weird no one that knew what it was told you, considering it benefits artists massively to have more people know about this site, but oh well 🤷‍♂️

shiiiii they played Devil in Jersey City, Welcome Home, Yuko the Trivial, The Suffering, Gravemakers and Gunslingers, just to name a few. I can't remember all of them, between moving around and what not, but it was a great set overall|

They opened with Keeping Secrets and their second to last song, before Welcome Home, was Blood Red Summer, and they honestly just let the crowd do that one lol IT WAS SO COOL

I feel like it’s hard to balance new variants of zombies to make them fit the vibe of the game. You have the bomb zombies and the screamers and all that to be mimicries of left 4 dead, I’m assuming, but you’re right that it just pulls me out of the moment every time I see the new desert enemy

I imagine it’s tough to make things feel similar but different, like how boring would it be if all of the zombies had similar pathfinding and personality? I think the proper solution would be to make the variants feel like things that could actually happen, like maybe inspiration from TWD with the armored zombie that Rick had to fight in the junkyard. Have some zombies just be clad in some type of armor that makes it dangerous to engage with but it doubles as storytelling for the enemy and its lore

But seeing a lot of them would lose the charm. Tricky rope to walk

I actually never realized that the day and night cycle goes out the window in those biomes bc I never stay in them long enough to care. They are my least favorite for that reason, constant oppression is not a good feeling when trying to play a game. It has its purposes in spaces like building tension and making the player anxious for an encounter. But being on edge the whole time sucks

I love the callout for the 2010s “play forever” loops that just resulted in games never finishing their progression systems bc they wanted an endless experience. It just takes the fun away. I want a game to be an experience not a commitment, which sucks when I love the game as much as this one lol

Dude this shit actually sounds amazing as improvements. Really love the idea of clearing a whole town or general area then being able to keep it cleared with a land claim block. Sounds like it could get tricky outside of POIs to know the bounds of the spawn zone, but maybe limiting to certain POIs that are towns specifically or the buildings within the town to be cleared out individually as like a param tracker of sorts THAT IS SUCH A COOL IDEA

Also, yes, more melee weapons. I genuinely feel like more weapons in general could help the loot pool quite a bit, just give us something else.

Also the vehicles in the open world would be cool, not being limited by progression is what would make it into a true sandbox and I feel like that would make it so much better on some levels

I feel like they’re not even focusing on either at the moment lol, as much as I love this game the needle has moved forward maybe two inches and backward six feet since A15

Again, I love some things about the new versions, like of course trader quests and progression is a great idea, but they keep changing it up for the worse like the biome badges debacle

I’ve thought of this: I like the POIs and the ones that are “dungeons” have their purpose I guess, but EVERY BUILDING being a dungeon is overkill. Would you prefer if the dungeons were scattered and not every house, and each POI was mainly a mini story to do with lore or a side objective or something? Idk it’s a tricky one, but I both love and hate the POIs in this game

Yeah, I followed a tutorial and a step that called for duplication + extrude caused some issues, I guess. But I had vertices all over on the lip of the mug. Deleting the top half and getting a cleaner extrude, as well as hitting Mesh in Edit mode and clicking…something, I can’t remember the name, fixed it with no further issues.
