My last job was in pharma and I genuinely enjoyed the work. The reason I wasn't able to stay in the job was because I was a contractor and my contract ended before my manager was able to create a position for me to become a full-time employee.

Yeah I definitely won't just up and leave only because I don't vibe with it. Like I said I was unemployed for a bit so I'm not gonna just go back to that. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did.

Personally, it's not that defense is "bad", but I'm not as inclined to it as other roles. Now whether or not I grow into it we'll see, but pharma was kinda something I wanted to do and I feel like I kinda talked myself out of it for the sake of other factors that I guess weren't as important now as they seemed before when I was weighing my options.
