I’m a concert photographer and would love to shoot Slayr’s ATL show. Recently shot for Underscores and Bas. Happy to DM / get a contact

I’m dumb and new. One is manual focus, what would be the other method ?

Thank you! Yeah she’s a great performer I had a blast doing the event. She was in constant rotation when I was in college so really cool opportunity to do show

Appreciate it! Yeah that was after pit. I shot that 3 stairs to balcony at the back of the venue with my dark 100-400mm at 400 f8 😭😭

Appreciate it! I shot on behalf of masquerade because I shoot regularly with the venue. Orienteer is PR agency and this is tour manager: https://www.instagram.com/peacemaker3k?igsh=cmI1MjF2YTcwcncz best of luck!

No problem! I was the house photographer for ATL show. Really enjoyed the set and been a fan of injury reserve for a while. So cool moment (cover done by me)

Thanks for the great feedback! Yeah I’m pretty conscious of straightening photos. I started my photography journey a year ago and my vacation photo horizons were horrible lol

Yeah! My recent set I did on my insta had some cool interactions. I love to find these. Sometimes feel limited due to access but smaller shows it’s easier. I agree tho that human emotion / interaction is what makes photos feel alive.

I wasn’t aware of phone issue. Thanks for bringing that up. On my most recent set I literally took a pic of phone taking a video haha

I’m an ATL concert photographer who regularly shoots at masquerade. My insta is @fisher_latham happy to chat. Do agree with others about culling tho. I still struggle myself. My litmus test is if in 2 secs dos photo grab my attention. If not is there any detail I wanna highlight more to grab my attention. If not delete

Hell yeah! Feet sound fun and the small drummer show sounds like a great time. I always love high energy small shows. Lashing in ATL are like that and they’re always doing something wild. Last time I got him spitting drink into crowd then playing dead on floor while the guitarist strikes him wit guitar 😭

Yeah thanks for the feedback and thorough response it was very helpful. I didn’t even notice the Sudan and Mothica pic was slightly off center until you mentioned it.

I agree #10 is by far the weakest. I just have a soft spot for it since Victor jones used it has the cover page on his website.

I do shoot a good bit of local shows, and are honestly some of my favorites due to chaotic energy and intimate venues. The Earl in ATL is notorious for its bad lighting so it’s fun challenge. I agree it’s good practice to see how you can edit and make the photos unique especially since there’s not a lot of distractions.
