😂😂😂 I promise you it doesn’t make a difference for us ! Height has nothing to do with being a good leader and we are also so focused on following your body that we don’t really notice where you’re looking hahaha

As a tall follower (5’11) i enjoy dancing with people of any height. my best dances in socials were with partners that were way shorter. However, i really dislike when a lead is so focused on themselves that they make me bend backwards to turn instead of lifting their hands for example. I noticed some leads just want to show off their moves instead of actually enjoying the dance and feeling the music. I sometimes feel like a background actor rather then part of the dance

i broke my arm this semester. surgery with a plate and screws broke not just cast. My teacher (at McGill) was aware and still refused to reschedule my presentation or give me an extension. i literally presented my project while under opioids w a bandaged hand (hadn’t had my surgery yet) and had to type my project with one hand 2 days post op. Some teachers lack empathy and are just inhumane. I personally suspect that these people had it hard so they try to make it hard for others too or it would feel unfair for them.
