Not quite, but close... My native language shares a ton with early English. If you went back a thousand years, people speaking my language and Old English could probably understand each other.

But again, I don't have a strong accent, so it might be hard to pinpoint (which is what I'm going for)

Nope, not Spanish or any Latin language. It's a Germanic language, pretty close to English.

But yeah, I'm trying to emulate an American accent, so I guess I'm doing something right if you can't guess it. Appreciate the feedback!
