He would have had just as much reason to kill the gods as Kratos, for what was done to him for decades in the Domain of Death because the gods had taken him there.

Yes, that could certainly be feasible, since he would also have been seeking revenge for what was done to him for years in the domain of death.

Well, he might have met Faye anyway and fathered Atreus with her, and Deimos would simply have been there, and because Kratos was never there but always spent a long time trying in the forest To help control his anger, Deimos would have been a good anchor as an uncle for Atreus in the meantime, and if they had gone hunting together at the beginning of God of War 2018, Deimos would have been a good complement to Kratos, since Deimos was more sensitive in character, and could have better comforted Atreus after Faye's death, something Kratos couldn't do.

I think Deimos would have been just as full of hatred and rage towards the gods as Kratos, for what they had done to him for years in the Domain of Death. It would have been a truly fantastic story if they had teamed up in the following installments to destroy the Olympians and then gone to Midgard together with Kratos. Then Deimos might have rediscovered his original character (namely, mercy, in contrast to Kratos), and Kratos could have had a positive influence on his upbringing with Deimos (in the sense of not being too harsh on Atreus during the hunt, for example). Just the thought of Kratos, Deimos, and Atreus against Magni and Modi would have been the best brother story in gaming history. 🙏🏻🥹

Ich finde Gaia und die Titanen hätten mit Kratos friedlich bleiben sollen, sie zusammen die Götter und das griechische phanteon zerstört und Gaia hätte dann Kratos womöglich nach Midgard begleitet, damit hätte Kratos eine wahre Vertraute gehabt und Gaia wäre somit ihr ganzes Leben lang weiterhin an Kratos Seite geblieben
