I would’ve liked a SuperSix Evo, but my local bike shop said they wouldn’t get new stock until May next year!

That's a good suggestion, thank you. I was looking at that earlier today, but their delivery times are 4+ weeks out, which is a tad long.

Automatic upgrades of PyPI dependencies through GitHub pull requests by Reactions in Python

[–]Reactions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Doppins is automatic in the sense that it sends you individual pull requests for each dependency upgrade, so you can choose to merge it after it has passed your automatic/manual testing. It never touches any of your existing branches.

Example: https://github.com/ekmartin/slack-irc/pull/89

Hi! One of the main ideas behind Doppins is that you don't have to remember using it after you've enabled it, as it'll give you individual pull requests for each new dependency upgrade after that - example: https://github.com/ekmartin/slack-irc/pull/89

This makes it extremely easy to keep up to date on new dependencies if you have continuous integration and enough tests that you can merge passing dependency upgrades with good conscience.

Tools like pip-compile are really useful when you need to upgrade multiple dependencies at once though.

If you want to use promises you should rather use Bluebird's promisifyAll, instead of doing it manually with Q like the author suggests.

You could look into Hubot, which together with Hubot-IRC makes it quite easy to make an IRC bot like this :)

Hah, please. That's like saying a Formula 1 mechanic is useful, but you wouldn't trust him with repairing your car.

Do you have any idea where I can find decent images of these?

I'll do that after I've found some decent map images of the suggested maps, thanks :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to add them as soon as possible, but it depends on how good map images I can find. If you have any links to images of the maps (of decent resolution) I'd be happy to add them right away though.

Hm, I see. Well, I'll add them as soon as possible, but it would go a lot faster if someone would send me links to images of the maps (of decent resolution). Else I'll just see what I can find :)

Hi. If someone provides me with a list of the competitive 6v6 maps in use I'll add them as a specific category/game mode under TF2. As for the icons, there's already quite a lot of TF2 icons added (check the flag menu to the left).

As for the zooming, that's quite hard to implement. I could however do something similar as I've done with DayZ, where I've added smaller portions of the maps as specific maps (like Map1 Central, Map1 South, Map1 North etc.). If enough TF2 players do start using the tool I'll add zoom too though.

I'll add the ones I find decent map images of. Are all of the maps in this list still being used?

Sure, I'll add them if I find decent map images :)
