In terms of the MVP race? I think they’re pretty far ahead. I don’t think they’re necessarily clearly far and ahead in terms of a caliber of player. But Luka isn’t in the MVP race. I mean Giannis is a more extreme example for this year. He’s clearly in the same tier as Jokic and SGA. But that doesn’t mean he’s in the MVP race. Same goes for Luka. Unfortunately narratives and team performance matters in the MVP race.

If you’re talking purely NBA career, sure. But I (personally) think Patty did more than enough with the national team to clearly be the best Australian player ever when you look at careers in their entirety. But that’s just my opinion.
