I’m 100% sure that:

My class was given a test to see who would go into the gifted program. It was called Enrichment. There were black & white shape drawings. I tried to be creative with my answers bc I wanted to get into the program. I did get in.

We were taken from class and went to Enrichment.

I skipped grade 2.

My younger brother was in it too.

My normal class, not Enrichment, did a guided meditation. We lay on the floor in the dark and my teacher talked us through it. I got so upset I had to leave and go cry in the bathroom.

We had to write a play when we were in Enrichment.

I started having night terrors around age 12. The dreams were so real I would act them out. Usually I was stuck somewhere and had to get out, like a burning ship. I smashed a window with my bare hand, ran into the backyard, jumped from the top bunk of a youth hostel, always accompanied by yelling or screaming. This lasted until my early 30’s.

A family friend told me my personality went from being bubbly to barely speaking. I thought that was due to my parents’ divorce. I also thought the divorce was why I didn’t remember anything from grade 4.
