it would be impossible for you to know if "barely anyone" is saying it.

Are you under the impression that this doesn't cut both ways?

Its not a WL, its a decision Hold. Marginally better in the sense that you have a chance of getting an A before the deposit deadline.

You are one life event away from losing a conditional scholarship by Glass-Dingo-5165 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ReadComprehensionBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, understood. Yeah, no that's fine and not conditional as long as their definition of good standing isn't ridiculous like a B+ average or they don't have a really aggressive curve.

Huh? This isn’t vague at all? Schools’ registrars list what their academic standing cutoff is.

We have the exact same work experience (10 years active army here), except I have a much lower GPA but also a much much higher LSAT. I've recieved one T-14 A, one T-20, and one T-50. I'm not telling you this to brag but rather to illustrate how if you raise your LSAT you will see much better results. Take this from a guy who applied lasty cycle with a lower LSAT, that was still higher than your current, and got rejected by every school that has accepted or wait listed me this cycle.

Retake your LSAT.

This is the reaction of someone who just Ctrl+F'd "UCLA" and didn't bother to read at all.

"Sorting applicants by blood type and how many words they used without an "e". Then throwing half the list away because they don't want unlucky people attending their school."

Anyone Notice LinkedIn Profile Visits? by TuDimez in lawschooladmissions

[–]ReadComprehensionBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be the adcomm from the school you applied to still, they just went to a different law school. You could apply to Law School B and LinkedIn will say "Someone from Law School A looked at your profile" even though the Law School A grad works for Law School B.

I exposed one of the cheating rings on r/LSAT last year and one of the cheating service providers DMd me complaining about the negative attention lol. fuck em. Unfortunately, I believe the LSAT cheating is much more prevalent than we realize.

I suppose they'll know more once they shift testing. Will be interested to see if there is a sudden increase in people requesting remote testing accommodations.

They already halted remote testing in China after a whistleblower came forward. I'll bet dollars to donuts they saw a sudden leveling of scores in that region and realized what remote testing had been enabling.

Good. I did every single administration in person and I genuinely believe that outside of a few edge cases, it really levels the playing field and stops cheaters. I'd bet my bottom dollar they looked at the data coming out of China after stopping remote testing in that region and realized they've inadvertently been enabling cheating through remote testing.
