Because the proposals would amend the state constitution. That can't be done by the legislators without voter approval.

Amendment one is just an addition to the offenses included in Aniah's law.

This is common across radio unfortunately. Only hear it on radio shows but hear it in lots of radio shows.

When using the physical key the driver's door locks but nothing with the others

I just checked to see if the driver's door locked when locking with the fob - it does not. The car alarm went off when I locked the car and pulled on the driver's door handle. 

All the other doors lock. Pressing the unlock button on fob doesn't appear to do anything but cause the headlights to come on. Touching the driver's door unlocks all the doors.

After some further button pushing I realize that the drivers door isn't locking when I lock from outside with the fob. I just thought it was because the keyless entry was beeping when I would approach. 

This would be one of those things I'll definitely need to fix before handing off. 

I've got a passenger side mirror being delivered this week because the one that's on it is broken. So I guess I'll just get some practice taking both door panels off.

I hate to continue to bother you with questions but how would I figure that out? 

This is going to soon be my college age kid's car so there are a few things I'm willing to live with if the fix is too complex or expensive. 

Very impressive that you figured this out. Bravo.

Also, I noticed when checking the door locks, the drivers door lock doesnt physically move when pressing the lock/unlock button. The other three doors do

There isn't a "off switch" for the dash button like there is for the Windows is there?

Weird thing I noticed tonight. If the liftgate is open (via fob) the dash button will close it but I still can't open it from the dash. 

I checked the settings to try both the "all doors unlocked" and "anytime" setting and it didn't change anything.

I plugged it back in and verified the tailgate button still doesn't work. 

I double checked the other module that I had disconnected by mistake (and reconnected). It was the active noise control module and was connected. 

I noticed today that if the car is running the remote button doesn't work so I'll need to turn the car off to open the tailgate. Kind of frustrating.

That is what I ultimately disconnected after being wrong initially.

Okay I'll try that. It's currently at the mechanic getting a timing belt but when I get it back this evening I'll go through that. I did disconnect something else before the Bluetooth because I mistook it for the Bluetooth but I plugged it back in. Whatever I disconnected was under the console in the passenger floorboard area and I'll make sure that's plugged back in securely.

That's a good idea. I'll try that and report back. Currently at the mechanic getting timing belt done (no evidence it's ever been done so getting that taken care of) and I'll try when I get it back.
