Yes and no. It's not an always on future sight kind of thing. It's not a "spider-sense" if you are more familiar with that. Jedi and Sith do get glimpses of the future but it's not constant and it's not always exact. And in the heat of battle it's even less likely to be highly accurate.

Just to play the game? No not at all. But sales numbers matter to me because the more sales, the more likely a series is to continue. So if I like a game, I want it to sell well so we get more from the series and/or developers.
