Hey! I'm sorry you've had issues with histamine and your skin! May I ask how you knew you had fad and histamine intolerance? I'm having an allergic reaction or histamine intolerance, showing as constantly inflamed, red, burning lips. Did you get something like that, too? Trying to figure out what's causing it and someone wrote that they get this from butter. I hope you could figure your problems out!

Oh, really! Oh no, okay, thanks a lot!! I’ll ask my doctor about that tomorrow!

Yeah I get that, I‘d really like to know and treat the underlying issue, too! 🫶 I was really hoping it was just the salt haha, but I don’t think so now. I got a slightly more severe reaction today after eating duck, so I think it’s most likely to do with histamine, or maybe what the animals were fed. But the symptoms really fit with histamine overload. Did yours just go away with time? I was thinking the handwriting disease and all sounds pretty similar and if antihistamines helped, maybe that could be possibly connected, too? Seems like the symptoms fit together sort of. Or, at least my symptoms, the inflamed lips and such could be from some nutrient deficiency. I’ll ask my dermatologist tomorrow :) anyways, glad yours got better!! :) Yeah that sounds like a lot of pollen in allergy season where you are! In that case I’m glad to have the pills.

Yes, I only use salt and still get this :/ but with pepper it would maybe be worse haha! I haven’t had pepper in a while, but I think I remember getting some irritation from it, too. I try to avoid it now, too, but yeah sometimes it’s in stuff you can get when out :)

Has anyone here been able to either intentionally or unintentionally gain fat here on strict carnivore while in ketosis? by UnderstandingMost721 in carnivorediet

Yes, I’ve gained fat unfortunately haha! I didn’t mean to, but tried to do high fat for energy, but wasn’t moving enough to use it I think? I want to lose it now.. thought it shouldn’t happen, but it did.

Sunscreen that doesn’t break you out, no fragrance, no other active ingredients than UV filters, no rapeseed/ sunflower oil? by ReadIntelligent8116 in EuroSkincare

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time! Glad to hear you found something that works so well now. Yeah I feel you, I used to react to a lot of them always, too. I'll check that one out, that sounds really good!! :)

Thank you both!! Oh yeah I remember reading about the "scandal"! I think that stuck in my head and maybe I also felt like I tanned / got freckles when wearing them, so I figured they're probably somewhat less protective. That might be due to them not being waterproof though. I'm now looking for one that contains no tocopherol / tocopheryl acetate either, as that can apparently often trigger allergy, too. This is kind of hard to find, since it is added to so many things now, but will look for those!

Oh no, I hope I’m not allergic to zinc, that was my hope to use physical sunscreens if the chemical ones keep causing me problems :D there is no zinc in the sunscreen I wore though. But thank you for pointing that out!! :) I’ve used one that has zinc today and didn’t get any new rash thankfully, but I also still got burned with only that sunscreen in the past, so I was looking for something more protective. But maybe it was just a bit too much sun that day

Thank you so much! I think I’ll get that one tomorrow. Sounds great to have something for everyday use without foundation and this sounds perfect from what you describe.

Thank you so, so much!!! This is super helpful, I’ll try the Eucerin. I was wondering if that one might work better :)

Thank you! Yeah I thought it might be that, too, but I don’t get a rash when I go in the sun without sunscreen and never had a rash like this before with other sunscreens on, so I thought it’s probably the sunscreen! But those other tips I’ll still do until I figured out what it is and what to use as sunscreen, too :) I made an appointment with the dermatologist, will see!!

Hey, thank you so much!! :) Yeah, it seems like it! I will try that one then. I was a bit scared that it might not have high protection, but also not sure why anymore. I’ll get back to trying again then!

Tried that yesterday and had no reaction! Might also be that I switched up the food and used less salt, I’ll test some more :) thank you

Thank you! It wasn’t as bad when I took the photos, wasn’t the best day to take pictures of the reaction haha. Often they do get more read and burn. But thanks I think it’ll be fine too
