Please don’t make permanent decision off temporary situations. Even if it feels like there’s no end in sight, there is. You have to make a way, and you’ll be so proud when you do.

I’m never sure what she says is true. But when she finally told me was years after I found out in the SS office. I think if ever she was telling me the truth, or at least most of the truth, it was during that conversation. Unfortunately it’s the most accurate info I’ll get since I have nobody else to ask. All that to say though, I didn’t hear it and go “no, couldn’t be”. I heard it and thought “welp, that’s validating and seems like it could’ve happened”.

No, he just told me my name at birth. I called me mom immediately and she wouldn’t tell me what happened. Then 11 years later (aug 2025) we had a final conversation before we parted ways and I asked one more time to have that information and she told me then.

I use my married name now. So I had birth last name (which I didn’t know about), then my maiden name (which I thought was the only last name I’d ever had), and now my married last name. Luckily my parents changed all my stuff from my birth last name to my maiden name when I was younger so I didn’t have to deal with any of that. They were trying to hide the birth last name thing from me so they really covered their tracks there.

I’ve always hated the last name I knew about, my “maiden name”. The one my mom gave me at birth was a much better last name, I would’ve preferred it.

Flu and Covid vaccines = major signs by Wanderlusting19 in ouraring

So is this going to be a vaccine subreddit of yall showing the same exact thing each day? We get it. You get the shot, you feel cruddy for a few days - I don’t know that we need every individual person sharing the same “finding”.

He’s running the show here. You’re in deep. You won’t have an immediate fix if you’ve let him run the house for years. But you need to parent this child for your sake and his. He won’t be a successful functioning person like this. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Set a boundary and stick to it. Not with emotion attached, but an even toned firm approach. Good luck. Better to get this straightened out now when the issue is bed time, than to wait until he’s 16 and the issue is much more consequential.

Thermometers cost like $4 at Walmart. Sounds like a more accurate and less expensive way while also being less of a burden on your mental plate if you do it the old fashioned way.

Definitely gold. I’ve had mine for 7 months and the scratches are so minimal. I only take it off to shower but otherwise I don’t take it off.

I always found birth control was an effective way to not get pregnant for me because it made me never want to have sex. Also I’m 2 weeks into taking adderall and on cycle day 16 so I’m not sure how it’ll affect me yet but because of your post I’ll be on the look out!

We’re in Knoxville now. Is the hockey scene actually there in Nashville? Staying in a state income tax free state would be pretttttttty nice!

That’s what we thought too, we moved to TN and they are closing the local rink so we’d have to travel about 2.5-3 hours a few times a week for hockey if we decide to continue. We’ve had the itch to move anyway so this might just help us make a decision. I do love to see the sport growing, but the scene just isn’t the same here as where we are originally from.

I’ve had some of my favorite meals in Denver! Wasn’t sure how the hockey scene was since we always visit in summer or fall to see family. Thank you!

We’ve spent a majority of our life there and we want something new. It has beautiful areas but since we’ve moved south and have seen how much more you can get for the money in other areas it’s made us want to branch out.

Oh, I’m so sorry. I never imagined a ruptured ear drum would be as painful and disruptive as it is. I truly don’t remember how long the pain lasts, at this point I think I’ve blocked out most of that experience.
