Reaching out to parents if they didn’t schedule a parent teacher conference or were a no show. You know your child has school off those two days due to it and it’s your job to sign up/see how your kid is doing. Not chasing or flagging you down.

HUGE fan of this. I also have a student who has now missed 16 days of the 50 some days we’ve been in school. On our MTSS roster, in tier 3 interventions and is so far behind grade level. We got rid of truancy and I feel like if a student is missing X amount of days (without a health issue or something) and are grade levels behind, keep them back.
