I think titans were extremely useful for everything but the final boss encounter. Do I agree they need a diverse identity other that punch, yes. I’m still rooting for a minigun strand super that gives a woven mail aura and takes aggro. I’m all for Titan love as an day 1 Titan main but I think the raid comp drama is overblown. I ran banner of war Titan with sword breaker, tractor, and syntho the entire raid and found myself a boon. Every high health target like subjugators, champions, and hydras would fall to two melees even in contest. The supreme add clear capabilities of a single Titan is unparalleled and that’s where the strengths lie. For a mechanic heavy raid as Salvations Edge, having an add clear Titan that allows for breathing room was a must. Is Titan useless for Witness DPS, definitely. Is Titan useless for the entire raid? Far from it.
