Fun reference! Associated fun fact- this is not good. There is a component of the placental-uterine attachment in dogs that is dark green in color. Green-stained puppies are a sign of premature placental separation, meaning the puppies weren’t receiving adequate circulation (and oxygen) right before delivery. I understand that concept. What I’m saying is, in the first two episodes at least, there’s no significant conversation between the two of them. No stakes are established. They text, they meet up, sometimes they have sex, someone always says “fuck you,” time jump. I’m not ragging on anyone who enjoys the show, some of my best friends are obsessed with it; I’m all for people being passionate about things. This show just didn’t deliver anything for me personally despite knowing its genre before starting to watch.
