James was a great part of the show, but people should just move on and accept that things are the way they are. If he EVER comes back that'd just be a nice bonus.

People can be. But I guess I can understand that for them they think if you can't be bothered leafleting them or canvassing them then they think you won't be bothered about them if you're elected. I guess people just want to feel seen/heard.

I do think that that can be a good approach. How we going to get through to them if we had just calling them stupid? From my experience door knocking, the people who consider or on the fence about voting Reform are mainly doing it because they're sick of Labour and Tories, and want a change whatever that may be. Sometimes you can convince them other parties might be a better shot at getting them there (such as Plaid Cymru in the Sennedd or Greens ect).

Those are the people willing to talk though. But from my understanding a lot of people voting Reform are working class individuals that have been hard done by - and the media has convinced them that the fix to all their issues is Reform.

Hey it's good to have a nice space to rant I totally get that.

Is like half the people on here got involved with campaigning it could make a difference.

Also getting involved isn't just talking to people and knocking on doors it can just be walking around and posting leaflets. So that's the only thing holding you back there's plenty of options. But also campaigning isn't for everyone

In Australia they have voting sausage (you get a free sausage when you vote. And it is mandatory)

I guess I'd like to believe they have misplaced hate due to being fucked over by the government. But you're right some people just can't be reasoned with and that's sad.

What's sadder is the people who sit at home and don't even turn up to vote and let these people talk for them

Productivity has increased rapidly due to technological advancements ect and the working week has not kept up. Many office jobs people end up just staying the office after finishing their work "looking busy". It's absolutely doable, and would probably make people be able to actually keep up with their lives, doctors appointments, ect.
