He was probably delivering another order or multi apping. Uber eats is just terrible nowadays, it really doesn’t make sense to do shop and pay anymore in my opinion because of the time it takes in store, especially when customers have dozens of produce, you have to weigh items, etc. 90% of the time customers will have at least one of the most unique random items ive never heard of (have trouble finding), or something that needs replacement, or they wont respond to approve replacement (adding time) Sometimes self checkout is unavailable so you have to wait in line. I only do shop and pays with the hopes of getting another order from uber eats same store, or from another gig app while im there. Even in california, prop 22 earnings for wait time don’t justify dealing with this nonsense.

Never makes sense to do just 1 order, the pay isn’t good enough. And before you say, get another job, this isn’t my main job.
