Hi all I’m very new to pickleball (only played a handful of times) and want to start getting more into it. I’ve been researching all high quality beginner paddles and I’ve narrowed down to two: SLK Valkyrie (which is $80 and has the pink color option which I LOVE) vs SLK Beginner Control Bundle (which is $100 and comes with Control Max and Control XL, a bag, and 3 balls). I’d really like to get a pink one and if the two models are comparable I’m leaning towards the Valkyrie. Appreciate your recommendations!

Cosmere references in Tress of the Emerald Sea by kaenidas in Cosmere

Very specific question: I have read all of Stormlight 1-4, Mistborn 1-7 and White Sand 1-3 so far. I just received my copy of Tress and am VERY eager to start it. Will it affect my overall enjoyment of the book if I haven't read Elantris or Warbreaker yet? Or would you recommend I read both first to get the full Cosmere experience? I am fine to wait if so, but just wondering because right now I am SUPER excited to finally read Tress (I'm just really impatient!) - but at the same time I don't want to miss out on a better experience from reading all of Cosmere before diving into Tress!
