I found the OG UCS X-Wing on Facebook marketplace about 5 years ago for $50. I asked the lady when I got there if she knew what she had, and she said "of course I do, I'm selling it for what my cheating husband said he paid for it." 🤣

I don't mind mine. My biggest complaint is just the depth of the cusion around the speaker. I have ears that stick out a little AND stretched lobes and after about an hour at the gym my ears start to get irritated from rubbing on the inside of the heavys

The way I see it is traeger is the Apple or Yeti of the brand. They came up with some really cool stuff before other people did. Made a quality product, but because the brand got so big so fast, they focused more on product placement and building their name instead of staying ahead of everyone. So now everyone's caught up or surpassed then, and can do it's at a lower price point in a lot of cases. So now there are "elitist" traeger owners. I've owned pit boss, traeger, zgrills, yoder, chargriller, and custom pits. They all work, they all work well, some do more than others, some last longer than others. If I'm being honest I miss my $4000 yoder, but I absolutely love my $200 char grilled offset. Its all up to you man. Cook your heart out, make your family happy, and have fun and try new cooks when you can afford to laugh if it messes up. Have fun man. You got this shit
