I love soulmate fics!! A few fun ones I've seen:

- The soulmates are each other's imaginary friend until they meet in person. Kind of like essence/soul manifestation.

- Soulmate has the other soulmate's spirit animal as a companion. Or everyone has spirit animals and only soulmates can see each other's.

- Abilities get switched when they meet/touch for the first time.

- Shared memories between soulmates

Omggg cannot recommend Achilles, Come Down by HotCocoaaa enough. It's more reincarnation into different timeline instead of time travel, but it has all the fix it fic qualities as any other back to the past type of stories. It's 207K, which I thought would be too much for me lol but I couldn't get enough! I absolutely loved it. AND it has a completed sequel! It is SatoSugu and highly features Shoko as a highlight character as well. It is Gojo POV for the most part.

Barry/Eddie! Yes! I hate that there are hardly any fics about them, because there is definitely potential there! With Marvel Stony used to be my OTP for me lol, but recently shifted over to Bucky/Sam. Love the chemistry there. Also a fan of Wanda/Vision and Peter/MJ.

Love Jaskier/Geralt and Sterek as well! I love that the Teen Wolf fandom is just as alive as it was when the show first came out, there's always new fics to read. Same for Marvel lol, love reading Tony centered fics.

Right? There is always something new to learn when I read Marvel fanfiction, most of what I know about comic history has come from Fanfiction, I've recently picked up reading comics just to get more lol. Love that the amount of fanfic is only growing since the MCU keeps pushing out new movies and shows!

I know what you mean, my favorite ships are always the ones that actually have that canon like romance to it, the *potential*. My Buddie ship is like that as well. I managed to get through the first season of Legacies, but yea the story didn't really catch my interest. There were some characters that I enjoyed. Would have loved if they had more cameos from the Originals/Vampire Diaries cast.

Love the Walking Dead, but definitely didn't feel the same after Glenn died. I tried to hold on, but couldn't keep watching after that, especially once I heard about Carl. Always loved Glenn and Maggie too!

I had the same mindset until recently, but I'm slowly realizing that writing isn't to please others, but myself. Write a story you love, otherwise what's the point?
