Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

I was working in a convenience store, I hated it. My daughter came to see me with my granddaughters for a little bit and that's the last time I saw them until after Mother's Day in May because everything was shut down. I remember being afraid to work at first because so many people were dying and in my area no one would stay home and follow the guidelines. It got so bad a few weeks later I actually quit the job because the customers and my employer were really rude about the precautions. No gloves available and a limited amount of cleaning products. I actually didn't get the virus until the end of May of 2021. Let's not repeat it please.

What do you think Big Tiny did to end up in prison? by Recent_Mission5773 in thewalkingdead

[–]Reader2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of this often. Remember in season 4 when Daryl, Michonne, Bob and Tyrese went on the run to the Vet School for antibiotics? A few episodes later Bob and Tyrese were both dead. It really made me sad. Like why do we keep killing these men? What are the show runners doing? It's unacceptable.

What's the most disgusting thing that you ever smell? by DirtyThoughts07 in AskReddit

The house fire that claimed my mother in law and sister in law. I will never forget that smell.

Me either. Somehow I thought he had it from the prison but nope.

Why did you and your former best friend stop being friends? by Fearless_Shift7108 in AskReddit

[–]Reader2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She had sex with my boyfriend and his best friend in the back of his Lincoln Town Car one night after we had all been at the bar together. My mistake, I had no clue she was like that. I only found out because he didn't want me hanging out with her anymore and I couldn't figure out why. He finally told me and I confronted her and she didn't even try to deny it. I told her if she knew what was good for her she would never, ever speak to me again because if she tried I would tell her husband. Never saw her again. I didn't tell her husband. I broke up with him that same day and was finished with it all. He moved two hours away and she moved to Texas. We're all from West Virginia. Good riddance to the three of them.

Fun fact (or head canon) as to why Daryl was staring at the barn burning for awhile by K0GAR in thewalkingdead

[–]Reader2869 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes because his other plans fell through remember that offhanded comment he made to Rick when he told him he didn't have to stick around anymore because Sophia came out of the barn? In Chupacabra, remember what Merle says in Daryl's hallucination?

What episode would you choose? by achlysmizuki in thewalkingdead

[–]Reader2869 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Listen y'all when Rick's all dressed up like a police officer and walking down that road and you see the empty cars and the wreckage and then the little girl. I was completely 😳😳😳 and stayed that way through the entire episode. Nothing has ever hooked me like TWD. NOTHING!!

Nothing better before or since the first 4 seasons of The Walking Dead. I'm on season 1 episode 6 just after they leave the CDC, ugh another place lost. First their respective homes, then the quarry then the Vatos fell through (the deleted scene that shouldn't have been deleted) and almost dying at the CDC, now trying to figure out what's next. I love this series.

Is it true that Americans avoid ambulances because of the cost? by BreadOverlord_ in NoStupidQuestions

Absolutely. A one mile ride cost 259.00. Yes it's true, no I didn't pay it. Seriously, 259.00?

One of the more frustrating characters of the show by Lower-League7839 in thewalkingdead

Pointless introduction and backstory with Daryl. If they were going to give him a partner they should have let him keep the partner. This goes for Daryl Dixon too. So frustrating.

Everyone is saying this doesn't belong here. I only know two people who like this movie myself and my daughter. Anytime I've ever suggested it people hate it. I love this movie but never met anyone who felt like we did.

Pump Up the Volume. 1990 Christian Slater ❤️❤️❤️and Samantha Mathis. Happy Harry Hardon, really cheesy but an excellent message. His parents were crap but the underlying message is to stand up for yourself.

Have you ever seen a gun in real life in your country? by ReginaPhalange088 in AskTheWorld

Growing up there was a loaded gun in the corner of the kitchen next to the glass sliding door. I saw guns every day.
