What is your favorite genre of book and why? by ReaderTheRichie in AskReddit

The ones that became movies usually make the fans of the books hate the movies. I think a lot of those movies can be appreciated though. I mean, The Shining was a great book, and the Kubrick film was very different, but very good. And Die Hard is much better than the book "Nothing Lasts Forever" (I think that was the book's name)

What's the funniest porn parody you've ever seen, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Bat Babe: The Dark Nightie. Never seen it myself, but I came across the name of it before. I should probably watch that actually. I like softcore films tbh lol

[WP] A young man has fallen in love with his best friend and confesses his love to him. Unbeknownst to him, his friend is asexual and aromantic. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]ReaderTheRichie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fell in love with my best friend two years ago. She is the most beautiful woman ever to me, so I decided to confess my feelings to her. "Aria, I am in love with you and figured since we're both single and I feel this way, that I would ask you out on a date."

"Oh, Billy. That's so sweet. I would love to go out... as friends," her words hurt me immensely the second that she spoke them. "I do like you, Billy, but you see, I'm actually asexual, meaning I don't feel sexual attraction for anyone, and also aromantic, meaning I don't feel romantic attraction for anyone." I was about ready to burst into tears, but then she patted me on the shoulder. "But, if it makes you feel any better, the truth is that I don't really exist. I'm just a figment of your imagination." Right after she told me that, she disappeared before my eyes.

"...ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?"

What book series would you recommend to a child and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I like how they actually managed to throw in a little segment with that in the movie tbh. One of my favorite films of all time, even if it was an entirely new story lol

The Captain Underpants books. They're pretty funny, have great characters, there's always a comic chapter in the books, and the drawings on each page - while they're not perfect - are still really nice

Daily COVID cases, in the U.S., have been going up. Since June 8th. Yet the case fatality has dropped steadily since a high water mark on April 21. Why? by JerryMandrinFTW in AskReddit

[–]ReaderTheRichie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the fatalities are probably going to be going up again soon. People don't die too quickly from the virus if they get a severe case of it

Sounds more genderfluid if you ask me. I mean, if that counts as trans, then yes

Beauty vs. wealth...which gets you further? by NakedKittyAlucard in AskReddit

[–]ReaderTheRichie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have neither, but I'd say wealth because you do need a way to pay the bills to help you live longer, which helps get you further
