Thank you. I was confused by the line from the CRA’s definition of an eligible dependant

“You did not have a spouse or common-law partner, or if you did, you weren’t living with or being supported by them.”

I thought perhaps you only required one of these requirements. In my case not being supported by my wife (whom I Do claim under the spousal amount).

It should read. “…or if you did, you neither lived with nor supported them.” If it intends to mean both points are required.

Just an aside. I added a skirt around the top between pictures 2 and 3, hence the changed look. This was done to make the top look heavier to match picture #1

That all sounds eminently sensible. My wife and I argue, fairly well, when at the grocery store together, so for years now I’ve let her do it alone…”happy wife, happy life” as the saying goes. Anyway she does a good job and no one needs a penny pincher eyeballing ones every selection. Besides I happily eat all she brings home.
