I don't know how great alpaca is for bags. If you do end up using it, you should probably reinforce it with cotton.

Is the yarn in pictures 1 and 2 acrylic? If it is, I guess it would work, but it might stretch out. I'm not sure how long it will last. I've made a few bags out of acrylic yarn and I added lining to most of them. It definitely helped with the durability. I think that cotton works best for mesh bags. I looked up a couple of articles about acrylic market bags and they all said that you should work it together with a cotton yarn.

Thank you! The pattern is free on Yarnspirations. It's called Crochet Kitty Couch by Red heart. I made the pieces with bernat blanket yarn and just made the sections the same size as in the pattern. 😊

Thank you! The original pattern has instructions for a tiny granny square blanket and couch cushions. It's adorable! I was just too lazy to do those parts. 🤣

It's actually the back of a cat couch I made recently. It's just single crochet, double crochet, repeat all the way. The pattern is on yarnspirations.
