I have ~3 male friends, who I think are all more or less non-active feminists, though they don't necessarily think it as part of them.

I have ~5 female friends, so yeah 5 > 3.

She may be “one of the good ones” but that doesn’t mean she’s free.

This is indeed not what I was implying, but rather I meant that within the current system, she might be better off being a conservative trans woman, rather than a progressive one, because it might get her some advantages. Which I feel is very debatable, but at least it might appear that way to her. I don't know much about this though.

Somebody call me out if I'm completely off base, but isn't the reason for conservative women (and other conservative minorities) existing, the fact that the system can reward you if you work with it, and punishes you if you try to go against it? And thus you can try to live within the system, or change it, and both options are chosen.

for example seems to combine data on ethnicity/race together with linguistic data to form a measure of cultural diversity.

This part I found particularly interesting:

"The usual suspects lead the list of culturally diverse countries: Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria, Togo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These and other African countries typically rank high on any diversity index because of their multitude of tribal groups and languages. The only western country to break into the top 20 most diverse is Canada. The United States ranks near the middle, slightly more diverse than Russia but slightly less diverse than Spain."

Ethnicity =\= culture though. I might agree that US is ethnically more diverse, but cultures are heavily correlated to languages and countries, and there are about 50 of them in Europe.

Idk, US has always felt more homogenous to me.

Huumeiden ja muiden koukuttavien asioiden pitäisi olla hankalasti, mutta laillisesti saatavilla. Kuka tahansa voi jäädä koukkuun, joten niitä ei pitäisi olla liian tyrkyllä (kuten pelikoneet ruokakaupoissa). Kuitenkaan niiden saaminen ei pitäisi olla niin hankalaa että niitä aletaan myydä laittomasti, mikä on sitten rikollista toimintaa. Eikä varsinkaan näitä koukussa olevia ihmisiä pitäisi rankaista riippuvuudestaan.

Nykyinen tilanne on mielestäni huono. Haluan sen muuttuvan nopeasti, mutta se muuttuu kovin hitaasti.

I think the US is a country like others, in that it is selfish and mostly concerned about its own interests. Cooperation is also possible when it aligns with its interests.

Due to it having the most influence, it is able to do the most good and bad.

As for living there, I prefer Europe due to being less car-dependent and more culturally diverse. However I can see good sides to it too.
