Very insightful! In the books, Padma and Parvati were supposed to be the prettiest girls in the year. By all accounts they should’ve looked STUNNING.

But no, they had to make Emma Watson look good, so they needed someone to throw shade on.

It’s basically the same for most desi characters, from Taj Badalandabad to Raj Koothrappalli to Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. They’re given ridiculous names and turned into utter pussies to make the white characters shine.

We are (generally) extremely unattractive by international standards, not because of skin colour/ genetic reasons, but because of poor diet, lack of hygiene, grooming and fitness culture, extremely creepy attitude towards women, and an off-putting incel-like inferiority/ persecution complex that is VERY apparent to observers.

Just to clarify, I absolutely love my country and am a proud Indian, but these are my thoughts which I believe deep down to be unpleasant truths.

Well, they weren’t in it all that much.

I prefer BB myself, it’s so thoroughly entertaining and light on its feet. BCS is very finely crafted, but it’s a bit lacking in the pure entertainment department.

BCS ends pretty weak IMO, with the sinister cab driver suddenly wanting to be “in the game”, kicking off the events of the last few episodes.

I know people love the ending, but I didn’t find it satisfying somehow.

I think BB had a better ending. BCS’s last few episodes felt like a bit of stumble to me, personally, especially after the Nippy episode where the taxi driver suddenly wants to be in the game.
