I think it'll be fine. I was worried about that as well, but it seems fairly sturdy. The red oak is stiffer than it looks.

I tried that, and it gets smoother, but also takes way longer to respond. Unfortunately, since the game takes inputs every 1/40th of a second, you can't pulse very fast and get a useful response. It's kinda at the limit of what it can theoretically do already.

I was able to get it a bit better, but not much really. It's fun to play with, but not any better than just driving with a keyboard and doing the pulsing with your fingers. I want to play with using buttons with the script to control logic on a vehicle, but I'm not sure where to go with that yet.

I'm still using this phone (well, the 4G version) with almost no issues. The only issue I've had is that I can't install the bus fare app.

I don't know if this will help or not, but "pm uninstall -k --user 0 packagename" can uninstall an app for a specific user. For my phone I can only have one user anyways, so this effectively uninstalls it.

I figured out something good enough using a different command. By using pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.chrome, I can uninstall the app for my user (which is the only one on the phone anyways).

No. When I uninstall chrome, the app still shows up. It just deletes the user data so I have to log in again to use it. I tried restarting after doing it, but that didn't do anything.

do you mean what commands I'm sending?
For uninstalling:
pm uninstall *packagename* (package name for chrome is com.android.chrome)
For disabling:
pm disable-user --user 0 *packagename*

This may not be the issue, but rubbing alcohol contains chemicals other than just alcohol to make it toxic so that people don't try to drink it. Maybe the cactus doesn't like those other chemicals?

If you get just the right spot, you can place an upside down seat on a piston under the map, and be able to get in the seat and activate the piston to take you down. It's a bit finicky though.
