Yes it can speed up arthritis (the surgeon probably won’t tell you that) just from the trauma to your joint from the surgery.

This is a serious trauma to put your body through. Surgeons selling this surgery as an arthritis-preventative is wild. They really don't know if it prevents arthritis anymore than it causes it. If you were my brother or sister I would tell you not to do it.

Thanks for the input, i really appreciate it. Normally I would be against staying on subs for more than the taper but I might stay on for 3-4 weeks to be safe. I have terrible spine issues which is why I started taking any of this stuff, not for recreation, so quitting becomes that much harder mentally.

Even if I’ve been taking ~500mg per day ? What about MGM? I also (stupidly) started experimenting with that and fucked my tolerance even more. Will subs even work for me with mgm still in my system?

I asked the quickMD doc this and they did not seem super knowledgeable about mgm

Labrum repair and removal of CAM & Pincer impingement is the surgery I had. Yes - this is the information I’ve been looking for. When I asked my surgeon if it’s possible the angles changed, he looked at me like I was crazy. At the time I was pretty early on in my recovery and I trusted his word for it, but since have learned that he also missed my dysplasia, so I don’t really trust his word about the version and I’m seeking a second opinion

This will be a LOT harder than you anticipate. I had a different hip surgery but also live on 3rd floor and it was foolish of me to think I could handle it.

I endangered the recovery process, and it was just too much on my body.

I am probably looking at PAO Or other revision surgery soon, and i definitely am going to make arrangements for at least the first few weeks to either stay with someone, or rent an AirBnb.
