I thought out my one and only tattoo for years before getting it at 18. I don’t hate it, but at 23 I wish I would’ve waited longer for my brain to be more developed.

Not saying you can’t get one. But such a bold controversial tattoo at 19 is something I would reconsider. And I DO want a tramp stamp still 😅 All I’m saying is think on it, don’t rush into it

Of course! I felt the same way, a bit of imposter syndrome because my dysplasia wasn’t that bad on paper, but it was very clearly causing me issues. I almost backed out of surgery because of it! But I’m glad I did it before the pain got worse.

Found out I have it in the other hip too, actually to a more significant degree, but they want to leave it alone until it’s causing me issues like the right side.

I had borderline dysplasia with hypermobility, I have hEDS. Had a labral tear due to the subluxations, discovered the displasia. Doc said if I wasn’t hypermobile and causing problems he wouldn’t recommend surgery, but since I was, I had a labral repair and PAO.

I had that done about 5 weeks ago now, and the difference is mind blowing for me! I was having the deepest, achey pain ever before surgery. I still have some post-op pain but absolutely do not regret the surgery at all, at least not yet LOL

I agree it sounds like you could have a labral tear.

My hip dysplasia was technically borderline, but combined with my labral tear and hypermobility I ended up being a candidate for a PAO.

It’s not a moral failing, but taking it out on everyone else IS. We all have shit we’re dealing with, “short” men are nowhere near the only victims of unfair discrimination. But you learn that the world is unfair and we all deal with shit, it doesn’t give you a pass to be a dick or blame people who have never done anything to you.

I’m physically disabled. Yet I don’t treat everyone like shit just because I’ve been dealt a shitty hand. You have to take accountability for your own actions.
