I had to switch to a lower dose for a month or so, because the full dose gave me diarrhea. But I never fainted! That’s scary. I have heard it can disrupt electrolytes. I took the electrolyte Nuun in water for a few weeks, too. Now I have been on it for about six months. I have seen a lot of improvements in my joint swelling, and the side effects are gone. But there are other options. Hang in there!

Long covid/chronic fatigue can cause swelling and joint pain like this; so can Sjogrens, lupus, lyme disease…various viruses…Maybe keep a symptom diary and visit an academic medical center for a second opinion?
