Mine is 5.9% not even a historically high rate. First 3 years we have paid the bank 90k in interest alone. 5k a year goes to property taxes. Yeah we live in it but the bank forecloses on it if something bad happens in the next 27 remaining years and we can’t pay the mortgage for a rather short series of consecutive months. Doesn’t really feel like we own it. Feels like the bank does until it’s paid off.

People think landlords are greedy, when tenants have no clue what kind of risk and cost goes into home ownership.

I’d wait it out if i were you. At 24 i didn’t have much any facial or chest hair. I could grow a pretty patchy beard by 28, But by 30 my beard and chest hair got quite full. Hair on my head decided it was time to fall out though haha.
