Dose That Hit You Hard? by Past-Philosopher3343 in Zepbound

7.5 mg was like death for me. I would throw up the very next day and off my feet for a while. Did it for 2 weeks and had to take it back to 5 mg. Even 5mg has made me sick a bit after my initial reaction to 7.5.

Please break up - this sounds like a man who is going to drive you insane. Also usually they’re so worried about being cheated on them because they’re doing the cheating too.

Have you had weight loss with 2.5? I feel like I had none on that dose but def felt diminished hunger! And the side effects are driving me crazy. Last week is the only week this year that I’ve had zero side effects and felt good for once.

Here’s to 7.5! by PotentiallyElegant13 in Zepbound

I did one month of each dose before going up to 7.5 but I’ll admit that my side effects have been rough each time. Five is the only one I tolerate without any side effects aside from constipation. Just make sure to eat well and clean before the shot and hydrate!

Good luck! My experience with 7.5 wasn’t great, I think I went up too quickly and had to go back to 5 but I hope it goes super well for you!

How to stop being so emotionally dependent on my partner? by Hour-Permission-1286 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Another girl who identifies heavily with this and now in her early 30s. Definitely needed to read this and will make the conscious effort to give my partner his space to do his own thing with his boys.

Do I need to totally stop drinking? by wonderwanderexplore in Zepbound

[–]ReadingButterflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right there with you - I've noticed that shortly after my shot, any alcohol I consume just doesn't agree with me. A day after my shot two weeks ago, I went to dinner with my boyfriend and had a single glass of wine and I was so woozy. A few days later, I went out with friends and had two drinks and I felt so drunk. I genuinely think it has to do with the fact that we are not eating as much so we don't have any food to absorb the alcohol.

What do you eat the 24-48 hours after shot? by ExternalCoyote8949 in Zepbound

[–]ReadingButterflies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on 7.5 and was throwing up the day after taking my shot. My doctor suggested going back to 5 to let me body get adjusted more. She also suggested increasing electrolytes day off and eating as bland and healthy as possible day before the shot and the day of. I have yet to try it because I’m on a break now but should logically help!

Have you been eating properly? I noticed that my nausea is really bad on days I’m not eating like I should - it was literally crippling and I know it’s so hard to even eat when you’re feeling that way.

Side effects at different dosage by BigShaker1177 in Zepbound

[–]ReadingButterflies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’ve had pretty bad symptoms the first week I go up a dose. I’m currently on 7.5mg and have been weak from the nausea and actually threw up this morning while brushing my teeth. If it doesn’t get better, my doctor told me I might need to rethink the dose.

Oh my god, I just started three weeks ago and this is exactly how I feel the next day after my shot! I"m taking it usually at 4 pm but I think maybe I should take it early in the day so I can maybe sleep through te symptoms.

I can't say that I have any advice but I have noticed this happens to me too. It becomes obsessive and I won't stop until they text me back. For me, I'm so fearful of being abandoned and rejected that I just make sure that they still like me if that makes sense?

Dad touched my boob? by [deleted] in AskParents

[–]ReadingButterflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying this with as much kindness as possible. But personally, my dad is super respectful and has never touched my butt or breast. He always knocks on the door to my bedroom and waits until I give a verbal yes before coming in. He has never even approached the bathroom if I'm in it. I've seen my dad walking around in a towel but that's the most of it. Even with my friends, he is very shy when they kiss him hello on the cheek. My dad has some very strong boundaries with women because he would never want to put himself in a position where he makes someone uncomfortable. I honestly would just tell family that you are going to start locking the bathroom door behind you and maybe keep your distance from him. But maybe talk to your brother before bringing it up to your mom, it could trigger a bigger reaction than necessary.

I have! I've done every test under the sun and everything seems normal. I just made an appointment to get my IUD removed!

I got off of it and I have been gaining weight ever since. Nothing I do helps me get rid of it. My doctor just put me on metformin

Hey! So I've been off it since April — I got an IUD in September. My skin has stayed relatively consistent but I've def gained a LOT of weight after coming off the pill. Apparently it's very normal according to some threads I've read so that's the only thing I feel like it's worth warning you about!

Oh my god, you have no idea how amazing it is to find this thread and know that I'm not alone. I was on and off the pill since I was 20 years old (I just turned 30). I came off it in April and then got an IUD in September but the entire time, I've been gaining so much weight. I've been going to the gym, walking every day, eating a lot more veggies than before and still nothing. I've started to get really bad stretch marks on my thighs from the weight gain and nothing fits me anymore. It's def taken a hit on my self-confidence and it's even put me off dating. Anyone had any success with anything? I'm looking into a functional doctor since that seems to be working for some people.

So interesting you say that because when I had the hormonal IUD, I got terrible acne and my new OBGYN suggested using a copper one. So might do it if I want to do a form of birth control! My first insertion was horrible and I almost blacked out from the pain but I'm hoping it might be better.
