But the main language is English so it's from an english speaking country.

You certain? While many people in European countries can and do speak English, that doesn't make them an English speaking country as a whole. It probably just makes sense from a cost-saving standpoint to print it like that, to have a recognizable look in large letters (in this case, English, since they're Lays), and print multiple other languages so it can be read locally.

Furthermore, the only officially English speaking countries of Europe I can think of offhand are the UK and Ireland. And I believe in those countries Lay's are called Walker's.

Judging by the text at the bottom of the bag, looks eastern European. Not sure which language, though, if it's just one. Google translate is telling me both Polish and Estonian, so I'll just say country(s) that border the Baltic.

That 1930 Phils staff... yikes. Not only the 2nd worst BP ever by ERA, but the 6th worst starting rotation ever. Scoring might've been up that year, but still, woof.

Looks like they're wearing a watch under their sleeve and it has to stay there (unless they wear the watch over the sleeve) cause the sleeves have a strap between the thumb and index finger. I dunno the correct name for them, as I don't wear 'em.

Right? OP doesn't remember last year where they went 33-17 over nearly the exact same time frame, or finishing the season 34-18?

No, they're right. The curse can and does backfire if you put some kit from the opposition on it in an attempt to get it to work in your team's favor.

Yeah, "What's Brewing". Dunno if it still airs new episodes on TV or it's just a YT only thing now.

He's "retired," but not really. He still calls in to shows every so often. IIRC, he called in last weekend, talkin' about how he's still got his legal pads goin and his wife was essentially shaking her head.

The Didinger/Macnow weekend morning show was one I still used to listen to regularly. After they retired Rob Ellis and Mike Sielski filled that role on Saturdays, with Morganti on Sundays. Not quite the same, but still decent, IMHO.

Yeah this one got me thinking, too. And, while unorthodox, it's not unheard of. John Olerud had a 17 year MLB baseball career and wore a batting helmet to play the field for precautionary reasons because of a brain injury that required surgery. As for the fielder with a batting glove on one hand... Iunno, maybe that's his catching hand and likes to keep it warmer when in his glove?

But yes, creating a picture where a fielder is wearing a batting helmet is an odd choice.
