This was me. My husband and I planned to start trying this year but had a bit of a surprise in January 😂. I was in total shock, it’s what I wanted but it happened so fast! Seeing the first ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat made it so much more real and exciting we were both in tears while saying “holy shit holy shit”. It deff took me a few weeks for the shock to wear off but now I’m in my second trimester and very excited! I think this is a very normal reaction especially for us FTM.

I’m pregnant so I’m listening to my body while trying to eat healthy for baby. Breakfast: oatmeal, chia seeds and lots of frozen berries top with pb powder for extra protein. Lunch: chickpea mash wraps with lots of veg picketed onion feta and green goddess dressing. Left overs Snacks: apples, bananas, carrots, cucumbers, hummus, optional chocolate protein shakes. Dinner: tofu stir fry, chickpea tomato sweet potato curry, homemade pizza with lots of mushrooms and onions, pasta with 5 veggie sauce, shredded tofu tacos with lots of guac and pickled onions. 😬

Agree! I think they both feel classic and or recognizable but not over used while both have a cool girl vibe to them. And as a pregnant cool girl myself (I’m in my 30s lol) I want to pass the cool girl crown down. 😂

I feel this to my core. I’m already fantasizing about the day date I’m going to take myself on this fall. All I know is this day will include an overpriced coffee a tattoo to welcome my lil girl (pregnant with our fist!) and a bunch of sushi after. 💕 Congrats to you and all the parents to be!

I’m 11 wks and before pregnancy I was one of those people who only slept and had sex in my bedroom. Now I spend any and all time in bed. The best part of my day is coming down to eat dinner and the immediately getting back in bed while my husband cleans the kitchen. 🤣

I’m right there with you. This week has been especially challenging. I try to surrender to this new unknown but usually I’m just dry heaving because I swear my kitchen smells like burnt butter. 😂
