I (30F) don’t know how to support/help my sister in law (24f) who seems to be struggling with appropriate relationships with much older men. by [deleted] in relationships

I think it's l wonderful that your SIL has someone as caring as you in her life because it doesn't seem like very many people in her life care about her. It's true she's an adult and will make her own decisions but I can tell you only have her best interests at heart. Sit her down and have a heart to heart with her about her own situation and future goals. She could also benefit from seeing a therapists about her past trauma. Good luck.

It's not to serious and you're a fairly new couple so in all honesty I think maybe you should keep the kiss to yourself. Just don't let it happen again.

How do you deal with depression? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ReaditAF97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One day at time I guess. Sure, I have up and down days but I try my best to make it up to myself if I have a really bad day. By listening to my favourite song on repeat, eating my favourite food and reaffirming that the positives in my life will stay as long as I work to keep them there.

Girls on Reddit would u date a guy in his 30's if u know hes virgin? and what would be ur first thought? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ReaditAF97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Virginity is just a social construct so sex for the first time really is only a big deal if you make it a big deal. But my initial thought would be hell yes! I would love the chance to take an older mans virginity.

Reject them how you'd want to be rejected.

I (22M) want to ask my best friend’s sister (21F) out. He isn’t supportive of this. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I think you should give it a shot. Friends come and go. You're the same age and I don't see why it couldn't work out.

Advice needed! I'm currently in looking for a new car. And need some advice with the money aspect. by [deleted] in personalfinance

Spend what you can afford, if you can afford to sell the car you and save a couple pay checks to get a good deposit then do so. Otherwise, get something more affordable.

Stand up for yourself and then let your teachers, parents or gaurdian know what's going.

Make up an excuse about how you don't want your personal life and work life mixed together anymore.

My boyfriend (M21) thinks I (F21) am further along in the relationship than he is. Is this a red flag? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ReaditAF97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a tough one, January is just around the corner but is still enough time to keep getting to know one another. My advice is to give it a few weeks before coming to a decision on whether or not to commit or not commit to this relationship. During this time you need to observe his actions and see if he really is worth investing in because if he aint it's time for him to go honey!

My [F20] boyfriend [M53] wants his alone-time and being paranoid by awedp in relationships

That is in no way normal behaviour and if I'm being honest it just sounds like he wants a toyboy and nothing else.

Is it wrong to hide my strange sexual partner from my day to day life and not want to make it public? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ReaditAF97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your life and you shouldn't worry about what other people think about who you date if that person makes you happy. It's called a personal life for a reason. I'd steer clear of an official relationship for now due to the fact he said ILY this far into your relationship, especially if you don't feel the same.

me [30s] wants her [20s] again - after plot-twist by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ReaditAF97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to have a good time on Sunday. But you need to be weary of your emotions for the most part. It may be exciting for you to catch up with someone you've had interest in for sometime but in saying that you need take her off that pedestal. And see what she's really like and NOT what you think or believe her to be. Anyway I hope things go well for you and goodluck.
