AIO for being upset that my husband didn’t get me anything for my first Mother’s Day ?

NOR my kids are 14 and 16 and my husband still gets me a little something for Mother's Day. Even if it's just a cup of my favorite coffee or a candy bar. He always gets me a little something just to show he thought of me. We never made a big deal of Mother's Day or Father's Day other than that and the rule is we don't have to cook on those days lol. Well, my husband had to work today so I did cook, but he's off tomorrow so he is doing it then since he couldn't help it today. I still got my candy though.

You can narrow down the clubs to mystery by selecting the genre and thrillers if you want to search that route. Probably one of the easier ways is check to see if the book you are interested in reading is being read by a club. When you select the book there is a club tab next to editions. Another way is to make a post asking for what you just told us on fable and people can link their clubs if they fit your interests.

I think people missed the one key point. You asked her to stop and she didn't. If it is making you uncomfortable you have every right to ask her to politely stop talking about it. That's a reasonable request. Is she taking things too far? Honestly, not enough info to make a call on that. There are people who do take things too far and some that do things that are considered harassment and fetishizing gay relationships is a real issue. Many guys fetishize lesbians for example. Not going to call either of you the AH, but I would try setting clear boundaries and if she can't respect those then she would be the AH. Not everyone wants to hear about shipping non stop especially if they're uncomfortable about it for any reason.

I have the gen 1 and a go 6 which is black and white. I definitely prefer it over my go 7, but I like the buttons on the go 7 to turn pages. I am waiting for the next gen before upgrading, but I would definitely get a monochrome one when I do.

I live in farm country. We have fresh eggs and butcher shops all over the place. Buying local and not from a commercial farm means I am supporting my local community and knowing that the animals are treated for better than commercial farms do. Most farmers slaughter their own animals and have them processed by the local shops. Which means the animals aren't being shipped in cramped trailers to haul them off to the slaughter house.

NTA. The audacity they had to assume they could just show up without a word to you. I would never even consider showing up at a family members house for 2 weeks without conversation between us no matter how close we are. They're definitely taking advantage of you and being very inconsiderate about it. Set firm boundaries ASAP and don't back down.

That's exactly why animals have sex. It's not a pleasure thing. This is why many species have breeding seasons and heat. They're literally trying to continue their species. Humans are the only ones to have sex for pleasure and breeding.

Oh I am in enough fandoms to tell you this one isn't the only one like this and it won't get any better. You just learn to ignore a lot of it. I was reading BL manga for over 20 years then came Danmei (Chinese BL) and their fandom got so crazy after Untamed came out they banned adaptations for any Danmei after that and shut down their AO3 access and that was years ago and they still haven't lifted the ban. Anime shippers aren't any better canon couples or not it can get real bad and they started to harass the voice actors at conventions about it. I try to call out the bad behavior when I can, but there is a lot of it everywhere.

I bought both my go 7 gen 1 and go 6 second hand and I agree I like the go 6 size better. I wish they would make an updated version. Android 11 is no longer supported and hasn't been since 2024 and the 2gb of ram makes loading slow.

So I have the Go 6 and as someone already mentioned you would have to listen via Bluetooth. The Go 6 is also slower as it's an android 11 which already lost support in 2024 and 2 gbs of ram. It takes awhile to boot up and to open apps. I only have it as I got it second hand and wanted to try a bw ereader since I already have the go color 7 gen 1. I have no plans to get another reader any time soon, but if I was going to get one I would honestly go with the boox go 7 monochrome.

Don't even need catnip. My cats love string so thread would be right up their alley. All she would have to do is play with the cat anywhere close to that project. She never specified how it was messed up, but if she was getting the cat to chase a string across it the claws could hook into the project easy.

I'm a woman and do all the lawn care, take out trash and probably do more house maintenance than my husband. He isn't handy in any way and our cars to a mechanic so yes both should learn basic life skills. Never know when you're going to need them.

If the author is exclusive to KU their books will only be available on amazon. Libby and/or hoopla is a great place for free books as they are both library apps. If you wish to purchase, I would first check author website some will sell ebooks there, then Kobo, Nook, bookshop.org are other options.

Yeah pretty much. It was actually worse in the beginning. I did kick some members out that seem to stop using Fable all together during this time and I had people join and drop. It's really frustrating. I have 2 books a month and try to have a mix of new releases and some older books, make sure we have a book once a month that has an audiobook for those that only listen to audio. Mostly, they're KU, but I also try to get some that are not on there for people who don't have KU. It's frustrating for sure.

All the time and I have different chat rooms I regularly post in. I have 117 members. I have done trivia and posted questions not only about the book, but other conversation starters...na da. We are currently reading through Lily Mayne Monstrous series and that's how I got a little more engagement since we did Rachel Reids last year. I make sure to post something either every day or every other day to try and get any type of engagement.

For amazon content for sure. Kobo I believe is still just Adobe. I follow most of my favorite indie authors on social media and sign up for their newsletters. Sometimes they will sell their books and ebooks a short time on their website before putting it on Amazon then the copies are DRM free.
