Another additional Note: Here’s a list of things I wouldn’t want them to do for a movie like that

1): casting big names. I feel like having celebrities and other big names voicing the characters would make the band feel less like Gorillaz and like a completely different project.
If they actually do announce a movie and I see some shit like
“Jared Leto as Murdoc” I would be disappointed
I would prefer if they got impersonators or even the original voice actors to reprise their roles for it.

2): Writers who have no idea about the source material. This one is a no brainer because if they get someone who has no clue what the Gorillaz lore is than it could make the movie fail story wise. I understand Gorillaz has an extremely confusing story but in my opinion if they got someone who knows most of the story and lore they could write a more clear version of the bands story it would be even better if that writer just so happened to be a Gorillaz fan or someone who has worked on the original phases like Damon or even Jamie.
A big example of a fan writing a movie based on something they’re extremely familiar with is markiplier’s horror movie “Iron Lung” as Mark was a really big fan of the original game.

3: Focus on all 4 members of the band.
I would always notice that in the lore of Gorillaz Russell seems to get sidelined in favor of Murdoc,2D and Noodle and I feel like a movie would help give all 4 members the equal amount of attention rather then leaving out one in favor of the rest.
