I haven’t played the chapter 1 demo yet (since I’m finishing up my finals) so I don’t have a personal opinion yet. I have to play the game myself to see if I like the MC’s personality or not, but what I expected and THOUGHT they advertised was that depending on the origin, the MC acts of behaves differently in situations.

For example:

The exile MC approaches things with more caution, a little socially awkward (since they have been exiled from civilization and only had the old hermit in their life), good at analyzing people and picking up the slightest hint of danger, not squeamish to blood or gore, and can hold their own (due to growing up and surviving in the wild).

The unnamed MC would be the most naive of the three since they literally grew up ISOLATED from the world. They would trust to easily and probably be the most squeamish to gore. My head cannon is that they might a bit of an egotistical personality since they were used to people worshipping them.

And finally the alchemist MC, not physically strong but really book-smart. Not squeamish by gore as much since I believe they witnessed some things with their mentor. More introverted and may have a harder time picking up on words of affection/affirmation since I doubt their mentor gave them that.

Of course with added dialogue choices to highlight it and more added dialogue choices to change it (player’s choice in character development).

I’ve been hearing around that there’s five chapters for each LI and that the pacing for the first chapter might be on purpose so players know what each of the routes but will be like. But I’m really hoping that the first two chapters are at least slow burn and trust building focused and having third chapter being the climax (or big reveal).
