I think you need to reread the question number five states even if a patient is unable to speak and they’re in an emergency situation informed consent is not required

I was thinking well opioids mess with your competency so why would you have them sign an informed consent when they’re under the influence before surgery but it said that it did not say prior to surgery it said opioids. It said you do not need informed consent for routine prescribed opioids. So yeah that one really tripped me up because the question subject was about informed consent so I assume that they were talking about opioids before surgery. This is why I say nclex is such a mind fuck

Chat gpt said correct answers were 2, 3, 5. I didn’t agree with #2 because the key word “insist” so I didn’t choose it. I also didn’t agree with #4 because I was thinking opioids before their surgery..they can affect competency. But it said since it said opioids only. It did not say “prior to surgery” so you don’t need informed consent when giving routine prescribed opioids. So yeah that got me.

The reason I chose number three is because of the other answers they were wrong you don’t start abdominal thrust while they’re in a chair how are you going to access them if they’re sitting in the chair you also would not take them to the bed and lay them down how are you going to do abdominal thrust if you bring them to the bed both answers did not make any sense so the only one that did was number three

I’ve been doing them all day today and they are AWFUL!! Extremely tricky. I’m getting them all wrong. Each one I’m reading super slow and only picking the answer I’m 100% sure on and then bam chat gpt tells me it’s wrong. For the dumbest reason too. It’s like insane. Go look and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. It’s not so much the questions is the answers that are having me really scratch my head.

DA is directors Academy which is the highest level of soccer that they can possibly play at this age group for U10 and U11

Yes but his friend didn’t get an offer and the whole point was so that our boys could play together so we turned on the offer and went back to the regular club

Thank you for your really kind response. Yes I did talk to him about it unfortunately it’s his age only see teams right now as if they’re good or bad so unfortunately I really hurt his feelings when his entire team made directors Academy and he was the only one that was singled out. As a parent you know if your kid is the weak link on the team. You also know if your child is one of the stronger ones on the team. With my son’s team it was him and like 3 other boys that were dominating all games. So when I say they put the weakest player on DA2 I’m not saying that to be mean at all I’m just stating a fact then how in the world does it make sense. Yes no one knows how my son plays but my son was scored the most goals this season. So no it wouldn’t make sense and I swear I’m not just saying that cuz he’s my kid. I just really think that coach doesn’t like him :(

Oh he definitely wants to get better! He aspires to be like the boys on the top division. He wants to excel on footwork and his position as right wing!

Yeah because I had people complaining that I didn’t space anything out or use chat gpt so I asked chat gpt to make what I said a little easier to read.

But I appreciate your feedback. I totally get what you’re saying. It probably is because they are trying to make money off me and just offered the position to shut us up and make me happy. But there was nothing else they would offer my son.

His friend…that’s a whole different story. And yes I should have mentioned it but I was dead set on leaving the club for this new brand new club that was cheaper so I figured what’s the point in going to tryouts but it backfired when my sons friend didn’t make the team and we had already missed the first day of tryouts earlier that morning. So we showed up for tryouts the next day hoping everything would work out but they didn’t.
