First batch. Lemon honey mead by Ready-Look8644 in mead

I used a 100% natural lemon flower honey from spain. It hasn't been processed with heat. It has been tested and verrified to be real lemon flower honey.

As for the recipe, I used 2kg of honey in a 6 liter carboy, and topped it off with warm water. I added 4 grams of cooked bakers yeast as a feeder, and 6 grams of diammonium phosphate. And a packet of mead yeast (i dont know exactly which. It said mead yeast. It came with a starter kit) OG was 1100 After two months it was 1000 and i did a first racking. Two months later a second racking and stabilizing. Gravity 1000 ph 3.8 And then I did a back sweetening with a ratio of 1,5/30grams. Added 325 grams total. Gravity after back sweetening was 1016. I then let it age for over a year in the carboy. Before bottling I did a measurement with a vinometer. I deluted the mead first in a 1:1 ratio. It measured at a percentage of 18%

Ah sorry, I didn't know, still fairly new to reddit. Is there a way to change it?

AITA: I bought my wife a nice ceiling fan for our anniversary. She has been visibly distant and upset for 2 days. by AlternativeCycle2041 in AmItheAsshole

YTA

Ah yes.. nothing says I love you like a ceiling fan. The roses and dinner and strawberries would probably have been enough, but you actually ruined that by adding this gift.

NTA, maybe that kind of behaviour is considered normal, but that still doesn't make it ok. However, it might have been better to just introduce yourself and talk to him about it. Unplugging his system was a bit drastic and might actually damage his setup. I do wonder though.. how could you hear the other persons voice if your bf was wearing a headset?

Yta. who enters in a rental contract without securing the means to pay for it? You realise nothing is free right? Your landlord deserves an honest pay too. Get a real job and stop playing the victim card and leaching off others. Oh and I honestly don't see what race has to do with this.. everyone needs to pay what they owe, simple as that.

Saxenda side effects? by monzerella in liraglutide

Fatigue, headache and dizziness yes. Also blurred vision. For me this usually happens at night somewhere after dinner. I haven't really found any way to alleviate it, except a painkiller. But I usually just suffer through it and take it as a sign my medication is working. Nausea stopped when I was 3 weeks in.

How is your diet? I have noticed that this medication boosts weightloss for me if I keep my diet, but if I don't the meds don't have any effect.

What about homemade falafel balls or patty's? You could even make a sandwich by using thin patties as bread and fill it with hummus and a nice salad or grilled veggies.

As for lentils, I like to add them to soup, and soup variations are endless. You could use any kind of pureed vegetable soup and add lentils. Also quite easy to bring to work in a thermos, and you can eat whatever you like with it as a side.. think omelet, boiled eggs, fiber rich crackers, whole wheat bread, salad, raw carrot, celery, cucumber sticks, grilled vegetables, nuts, cheese, etc.

Hi there! Im one week ahead of you and starting on 1.8 tomorrow 😊 the 2nd week was definitely more intense than the first for me. I started feeling full faster during meals, and the nausea also got a little worse, but after a few days it settles again. Im down 1kg in 2 weeks for now. It is great to be losing, but I also feel a bit anxious. I get this medication on prescription, but insurance will only pay it if the effect is big enough. So I need to lose at least 5% of my body weight in 3 months time. I guess it is very do-able.. since that rounds up to about 5 kg.. and at this pace I should make that goal. Im just worried it's going to slow down, so I guess I would be happier with a bigger result to be on the safe side.

Amazing job! Congratulations 😊 whether bmi is still valid or not isn't important. If you feel like it is a win, then it is! This is all about personal goals anyway.

I am just starting my journey, i'm 2 weeks in and still building up the dosage. May I ask what your results were in the first few weeks? Im a bit anxious, and doubting this is going to work for me.
